Task
We have to combine month wise sales register spread across 12 files into one single file.
3 Steps Solution
- Step 1 – Keep all the files in one folder
- Step 2 – Go to Data Tab –> New Query –> From Folder –> Provide the folder path
of the above –> Click Ok
- Step 3 – Click on Load To –> Table
Adding More Files
To add more files in future, all we need to do is Add files in the folder, Open the Excel file in which above steps are performed, Right Click on the Loaded table and Refresh.
Imp: All the files should be in same format and should have the same sheet name.
